Notification pursuant to Article 13 of EU Regulation No. 679/2016 (GDPR) on VIDEOSURVEILLANCE systems

In compliance with the regulations indicated, Traforo del Monte Bianco GEIE processes personal data according to the principles of correctness, lawfulness and transparency and the protection of your privacy and your rights.

The purposes, legal basis and retention period. The processing of your personal data shall take place for the following purposes, legal bases and retention period:
Processing: Video surveillance (acquisition of images by video cameras)
Purposes: Videorecorded images are processed to protect the safety of persons (including workers), prevent or otherwise impede criminal or dangerous acts and in general to protect public safety; to safeguard the integrity of the Data Controller’s movable and immovable assets, to verify compliance with contractual obligations and for organisational requirements. Finally, for possible legal protection (judicial or extra-judicial), for the documentation and reconstruction of events.
Legal basis: The legal basis is the need to comply with legal obligations; the performance of a task in the public interest and the protection of the legitimate interests of the Data Controller.
Retention period or criteria: The recorded images are automatically deleted after six (6) days from the detection, except for special needs of further preservation in relation to holidays or closure of offices.
A longer period of retention may be required in case of need to comply with specific requests of the Judicial Authority or the Judicial Police in relation to any investigative activities.
The procedures with which recorded images are processed. The cameras are fixed or pivotable, whether automatically or manually. The areas subject to classification are: internal areas, such as tunnels, shelters and other emergency areas; external areas, such as pedestrian and vehicle access routes, parking areas, toll areas and other appurtenances appropriately marked by the so-called “minimum information”.
Recipients or Categories of recipients. The images are viewed only by specially authorised personnel of the Data Controller. No other employee of the Company will have access to the images, even if extrapolated by those authorised to process them.
The data may only be communicated outside to the following categories of subjects:
Categories of third parties to whom the data or part of the data may be communicated
Any external parties in the capacity of Data Supervisors with whom a contract has been established pursuant to Article 28 of the GDPR;
The Judicial Authority and/or the Judicial Police, upon specific request of the same.

Rights of Data Subjects.
