  1) To drive through the Tunnel safely:


- Make sure your vehicle is in good working order

- Tell the booth operator if your vehicle uses LPG

- Follow the rules

- Read the information shown

 
  2) Listen to the radio and tune into the following frequencies:


- NRJ........................95,9 MHz
- RAI1 MF...................89,3 MHz

  3) Observe legal speed limits:


- Minimum 50 Km/h
- Maximum 70 Km/h
 
  4) Keep your distance:


- keep two blue lights between you and the car in front
 
  5) If traffic stops:


- Observe minimum stopping distances

 
  6) Read the information given:


- on the digital message board

 
  7) If the barrier is down..


...and there is a flashing red traffic light, stop!

- Read the information on the digital message board

- Listen to the radio and follow advice given to you

 
  8) If you break down or there is an accident:


- Stop your vehicle in the designated areas located on the right every 600m. If you cannot, park on the side of the road

- Switch off the engine and turn on the emergency lights

- Tell the control room using the SOS booth located every 100 m

- Listen to the radio and read the messages on the board. Follow the advice given


 
  9) In case of fire:

- Please reach for the safe shelters when the lights on the doors of the shelters are blinking, or when the radio and the messages on the panels are suggesting you to do it
- Help those in difficulty to reach the shelters
- Once inside you will be safe and we will know where you are
- Follow the suggestions that you will be given when inside the shelters
