AUTUMN 2023 – TOTAL CLOSURE FOR A DURATION OF 9 CONSECUTIVE WEEKS
In accordance with the decision of the Italian and French Governments, meeting in an Intergovernmental Commission on Thursday 7 September 2023, and in agreement with the Prefectures of the Autonomous Region of Valle d'Aosta and Haute-Savoie which met on Tuesday 26 September, the TMB EEIG will carry out technical maintenance operations in 2023, in particular work on the replacement of the road deck elements in the central area of the tunnel and the replacement of the 76 accelerators installed on the vault.
These operations will require a total closure of the infrastructure for 9 consecutive weeks, from 8 a.m. on Monday 16 October 2023.
Re-opening to traffic is planned by Monday 18 December 2023, 10 p.m.
