Tools

What is the tariff? The toll is the amount the Customer has to pay to use the infrastructure.

Periodical toll evolution - The toll tariffs for transit at the Mont Blanc Tunnel are regulated by an international agreement between Italy and France and are set and revised on 1st January every year by the Intergovernmental Commission. The annual evolution is made by applying to the existing tariff a percentage equal to the average of the inflation rates recorded in the two Countries in the previous year, besides any extraordinary supplements decided on by the Governments.

One tax, two rates - For the same class and type of transit, the tariffs applied on the Italian and French sides (IVA/TVA included) are different because of the different rates of taxation in the respective countries: 22% IVA for tariffs on the Italian side and 20% TVA for those on the French side.

How can I pay the toll -  The toll can be paid in cash (Euro), by cards from the main banking circuits (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Bancomat, Moneta), by SmartPhone and SmartWatch (Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Google Pay), using fuel or service cards (DKV, EUROTRAFIC, GR, EUROSHELL, RESSA, ROUTEX, UTA) or, for heavy vehicles, after receiving the invoice when subscribed to the interoperable MontBlanc-Frejus card.
Telepass use is not enabled.

Transit invoice: new request mode

Customers are advised that as of Monday, 3 October 2022, toll invoice requests must be submitted using a new online method that is currently being implemented on our website. From today and until the above date, it will no longer be possible to request the invoice using the usual paper form. Requests sent up until today will be processed by TMB-GEIE as they have been up to this point. Customers are therefore requested not to send new invoice requests using the paper form and – as of 3 October 2022 – to consult this site, where a specific page dedicated to requesting invoices will be available, by expanding the menu symbol at the top left, under “Organise and calculate tunnel transit”. The invoice will be generated and sent automatically.
